What exactly is copywriting?Copywriting is simply writing sales copy (or text) for use in marketing materials, such as websites, brochures, direct mail postcards, print ads, online articles, and press releases. The purpose of this copy is to promote a person, business, product, or service. Copywriting has nothing to do with copyrights. What’s the difference between editing and proofreading?Proofreading is checking written work for errors in things like spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Editing includes proofreading, but goes a step further. Editing also includes revising or polishing portions of the written copy to strengthen the tone and clarity, improving overall readability. Do you have a rate sheet on your website? If not, what are your rates? I do not currently provide a rate sheet on my website because each copywriting, editing, and proofreading project is so different. While my services are all very affordable, I ask that you contact me about your specific project. I will then provide you with a free quote within one business day. It's that easy.
