Who is The Constant Writer?The Constant Writer is a My name is Laura Balcom and before striking it out on my own as a freelance copywriter, I worked for five years as a full-time copywriter at two award-winning advertising agencies in Buffalo, NY. Prior to that, I worked for a publishing company in Cleveland, OH, as a staff writer. During my time there, I wrote more than 150 feature articles, including several cover stories. Since starting The Constant Writer, I have counted agencies, publishing companies, and individual businesses across Buffalo — and the Northeast — as my copywriting clients. I am passionate about the written word. It’s more than just a job for me. It’s a calling and a way of life. Most of my time is spent writing, editing, or with my nose in a book.
